They confirm what Buddhist practitioners know and teach for thousands of years. It is from Buddhism that the practice of mindfulness was taken by the author of the MBSR program prof. Jon Kabat-Zinn. But it can also be found in other traditions. Mindfulness is a universal skill available to every human being, regardless of gender, age, religion or culture of origin.
